Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God ~ Thomas Jefferson ~
When rational discussion, the Constitution and the ballot box are ignored, American patriots, like others have done throughout history and are now doing in Klamath Falls, will take a page from our past and simply rebel, choosing obedience to God over submission to tyrants.
If politicians continue ignoring the Constitution and our freedoms, placing everything to include some insignificant suckerfish above American's and their inalienable rights, there will come a day when pro-Constitutionalists all across this country will adopt the Klamath Falls approach and say to the politicians, "Your ways be damned, here we stand."
Have you noticed how many of these Washington weasels themselves ignore the law and Constitution when it doesn't support their agenda? Executive orders are used to steal land and resources without due recourse, they invade private homes and snatch children in the pre-dawn hours, and pass thousands of laws designed to accomplish little but the infringement of American's rights. They selectively ignore those parts of the Constitution that get in their way or seem to thwart their personal or political ambition.
Now what about our sidethe patriotic pro-Constitutionalists? We have been arguing with liberals and voting against the erosion of rights for years on such questions as guns, taxes, hate crimes, regulation, intrusion, land theft etc. to no avail. These liberals ignore the facts and press on. It doesn't matter what the people say or vote for or that the Constitution very clearly limits government power.
The reason for this Constitutional circumvention is simplethey don't want to be diverted from their crusade of converting the world to a system based on the centralized power of socialism and talking will never change themperiod. Given that talk doesn't work, Americans are finding other ways to deal with government, including civil obedience to God instead of man.
As the trend of freedom grabbing continues, Americans all across this land will one day tell those in Washington, "Do what you want, I don't care what you say anymore, I will ignore you because your true motivation is clear and I will not allow it. To comply with your law would indeed be a crime against the freedom of man and against the will and laws of God. I therefore choose obedience to the divine over obedience to the corrupt. The discussion is ended."
You can always discuss issues with people who share honorable intentions. Modern socialists however have no honorable intentions. What they do have is a desire to dominate and are using so-called politically correct causes like "preserving the fragile environment", " protecting endangered species" and "for the children" as smoke screens to advance their ulterior agenda of imposing greater government control over the lives of allplain and simple.
When liberals say they want to talk, what they are really saying is that they want to talk TO you and AT you, not with you. And when they say they want a common sense compromise, what they are really saying is that they will take only a percentage of the issue in question this time around. Normally however that issue is something they have absolutely no right to touch in the first placelike your money, your land, your water, or your rights! If we let this continue, we have only to look in the mirror to find someone to blame.
To my way of thinking, we have a moral obligation to stop such a crusade when the time comes because such a crusade, intent on expanding government domination over individuals, is not only anti-Constitutional by nature, intent and design, but clearly goes against the will of God for man to live free.
When talking, voting and the law aren't productive; history teaches that the only option left for freedom loving people is actionsomething all politicians should remember.
Civil disobedience has been used successfully before and it will be seen nationwide in America again as the only way to tell these so called leaders of ours; "DON'T TREAD ON ME." Not one more step. We've had it, you're through, your era has passed and we will no longer surrender our Constitutional rights in any way whatsoeverlive with it.
In that regard, I proudly salute the patriotic sons and daughters of American liberty in Klamath Falls. They are fighting every American's fight and sending Washington that unmistakable message of defiance steeped in the same freedom loving tradition and born of the same spirit as was ingrained in our forefathers.
Americans fought for freedom in 1776 and 1861 and they will have to fight for it again as they are now doing in the Klamath River basin. Those heroic farmers are struggling for all Americans and are indeed at the point of freedom's spear in 2001. They deserve our full support, encouragement and prayers.
Don't forget, freedom is never free nor is it an easy path to follow but that path leads to liberty for all and will ultimately thwart oppression by the few.
