"We're Doing It For The Children"This page was a long time in coming. Every time BJ Clinton and all the other Democraps wanted to spend more money from your wallet they lied about it. The first couple years they called this theft "contributions". Later they used the phrase "we're doing it for the children". "Doing it for the children" became so common that it literally made me wince when I heard it. This was in the face of the fact that most of the time the new scheme had nothing whatever to do with children. That is unless you consider that it took money away from families in the form of taxes.
One of the primary reasons for the breakdown of society is that mothers no longer can afford to stay home and raise their children. The total tax load, both overt and hidden, is now about 50% to 55% of the family's take home pay. When my dad was my age his taxes were under half that amount. Dad went to work, mom raised the kids. The kids gained insight and practice in becoming good citizens because the taxes on the family allowed it.
But there are also other sinister things that government can do to harm your children. For years now, over and over, I have heard horror stories about Child Protective Services, about spouses absconding with the children, about child molesters, "zero-tolerance" practices with ridiculous punishments, and promotion of "alternative lifestyles", (this is a code word meaning that the Homosexual lifestyle is forced upon impressionable youngsters) on school campuses to the exclusion of what school is for: basic education. Jimmy Carter's creation of the gigantic government bureaucracy: The Department of Education was the beginning of the end of quality public education. It delivered the education of Americans into the hands of elite know nothing Democrap Leftist-Extremist educrats and the union called the National Education Association that care nothing about education and everything about politics and politically correct thinking and indoctrination of young impressionable minds.
