merica – the nation that gives hundreds of billions of dollars a year to the world's poor, has cured our worst diseases and has liberated the globe from the likes of Nazism, imperialism and communism – is under assault. No, not by Iraq or Al-Qaeda. Our way of life is under assault by the socialists at this Wold Summit going on in South Africa. The same hypocrites who stuffed themselves with lobsters and sipped white whine, blame our wealth for all the globe's problems. But instead of seeking to elevate the poor, these socialists seek to bring America down.

The latest method of making us all equally miserable by stealing America's wealth was articulated by French president Jacques Chirac. Chirac urged the world to surrender to an international tax to "fight world poverty." This world summit, like the United Nations, exists for the sole purpose of plundering the wealth of the United States and redistributing it to the world. This is a big emotional pitch and a big emotional ploy. "Well, what could a small tax on airline tickets hurt, if we're going to solve poverty?"

Ah, but we aren't going to solve poverty. Have the trillions of dollars we've redistributed in
French president Jacques Chirac surrenders (big surprise) to calls to tax America so the world is equally miserable.wealth just in the United States alone eradicated poverty? No. Yet here we have Chirac proposing a new version of the "Toobin Tax," a proposal that James Toobin won the Nobel Prize for in the 70s. These socialists want as many people miserably poor, mediocre and average as they can so as to create as much dependence on governments - be they national or world - as possible. Additionally, they want to prevent the acquisition of wealth. Only they, the lobster-and-brie-gobbling elites, deserve a wealthy lifestyle.

The truth is that all human beings deserve that lifestyle, and capitalism is the way to get it to them - not the petty communist and socialist dictators who keep their people hungry as they cling to power. Our way of life is envied and resented by a large majority of the world's regimes and by the United Nations. That's why there's a big push lately for international courts, environmental decrees and now taxation. The left in our own country, including those who run the Democratic Party, support this movement.

This is the hate-America, destroy-America movement. The left in this country hates capitalism. Despite the fact that it's the only moral economic system, when have you heard a top Democrat say anything positive about free markets or profits? Never. This call for international taxation by the French president going to be received with open arms and glee at this stupid communist socialist summit in Johannesburg, and it does constitute an attack on us. We are now to blame, officially, for the poverty that exists in the world. No! We're the solution, you lying hypocrites, not the problem! If it weren't for this country, poverty around the world would be twice or three times as deep as it is - oh, and Jack? You'd still be licking German boots.
