Links To The Truth About Slavery
I am including a page of links on slavery because it is important. Slavery is still common in many parts of the world and in many forms. Sadly, here in America it exists in the hearts and lives of much of the population with their consent and submission. In bad marriages it can be the terrifying daily rituals of being blamed by the spouse for not folding something right followed by rageful abuse. These enslaved feel there is no escape. In American Blacks, slavery is a bondage to state supplied money and benefits which keeps them from exploring their true intelligence. Their race riots by a tiny fraction of their populations decimates the reputation of the great number of the good Blacks who keep the communities intact. In the Dictatorships of the world the entire population is held hostage, never allowed to leave the armed deadly borders they share with Free countries. And in the Moslem countries Christian believers are forced into slavery by Moslems. My heart aches for them all, God help them.
We received many interesting responses to our comments, amongst which was an article written by Dr. Anis Shorrosh, a Palestinian Muslim by birth. Dr. Shorrosh comments about the popularity of Islam with African-Americans, "...Strange enough, no one tells the African-Americans that it was the Arab Muslims who captured them and sold them as slaves, nor the fact that in the Arabic the word for black and slave is the same, "Abed."
It would be a final, terrible and sad irony that if African-Americans, who literally for hundreds of years have been exploited, mistreated and suffered, should, after all of these tribulations, when they have fought for and gained their rightful place in society, now fall for a con-job from these, often evil, people, who, we believe simply wish to exploit them once again. Islam is a religion of WHAT?
