Public School Textbook Calls Jews 'Illiterates'
Bob's Note: Here is another example of the left-wing-extremist and moral-equivalency "educator" trying to figure out if it's more politically correct to keep the Moslem book of lies. This is a remarkable piece in that it illustrates the sad level of stupidity of "educrat" teaching in our public schools. Here's a simple fact to chew over. Jewish people have the highest number of Nobel Prizes per capita of any group. Moslems have the lowest. Go figure.

A Los Angeles public schools textbook on the Muslim religion was yanked this week after it was discovered that the book's foreword describes Jews as "illiterates who reject knowledge."
"Nearly 300 copies of the book 'The Meaning of the Holy Quran,' donated by the Omar Ibn Al Khattab Foundation, were removed on Tuesday for further review," the Associated Press reported Thursday.
Despite the anti-Semitic slur, Los Angeles school district official Jim Konantz suggested the book's removal may not be permanent. "We're going to talk to the foundation members and determine exactly why the commentary's there and whether there is research to support it," he told the AP.
News of the offensive Muslim public school book follows complaints last month that a school district in Contra Costa, Calif., was indoctrinating students in Muslim extremism.
A lesson plan for Byron's Excelsior Middle School suggested that students adopt Muslim names, wear Muslim clothes and play their own "jihad" dice games. (See: California Pupils Indoctrinated in Islam.)
