Apparently the Rev. Jesse Jackson wasn't particularly humbled by the news that a fire had broken out at the E2 night club that he helped keep open despite repeated complaints of Chicago safety officials.
According to Chicago Sun-Times gossip maven Michael Sneed:
"When Jackson got to E2 at the crack of dawn Monday, he got out of his car and attempted to give his car keys to a high-ranking police officer and asked him to have the car parked."
Sneed said the top cop glanced over his shoulder to see if Jackson was talking to him "and turned and walked away."
