Looks like Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon, Sting, Robin Williams and other celebs are leaving their Bentleys, Alpha Romeos, T-Birds and Mercedes in their 20-something garages and tooling around town in their eco-sensitive Toyota Priuses.

Vincent Gallo is part of a Tinseltown conservative renegade brigade. The actor/director/musician recently gave an interview to the Washington Times, where he pointed out the folly of the Hollywood hybrid fad.

“I went to the Oscars this year and there were groups of actors showing up in these hybrid vehicles,” Gallo said. “I'm not going to name names. But not one of these clowns has been on a private plane less than 25 times. It's one of those great radical clichés of good will that they have in Hollywood. It is a pathology. They want to feel good about something.”

Gallo also shared an observation about some shrines of the ex-prez that are on display in the offices and homes of a lot of entertainment bigwigs.

“I’ve seen more pictures of him, you know, the autographed photos, with like these sleazy babes.” Gallo explains. “I mean pictures of a former president with two of these babes hanging on him. Can you imagine going to someone's home and seeing a picture of Nixon with two hookers?”

Whether we’re talking about the Hollywood silly or the Slick Willie, hype is the name of ego-driven game.
