Hillary Clinton must be in a tizzy.
Not only did her candidate, John Kerry, lose, but Bush won so big the United States is fast becoming a Red State nation! With 2008 plans floating through the air, we thought for sure that Senator Clinton would be shocked when she saw "The Map" on NewsMax's 2004 Bush Country T-Shirt.
How right we were!
Late Tuesday, Sen. Clinton's Web site issued an urgent e-mail to her most fervent supporters urging them to buy the new "Hillary Tee" - a designer T-shirt complete with Hillary's illustrated portrait.
Is this the first step toward a 2008 run?
Perhaps.
Here's what Hillary's Web site e-mail said about the "Hillary Tee":
"Post-election blues got you down? Having a hard time getting ready for holiday shopping?
"Here at Friends of Hillary, we know how you feel. We worked as hard as we could to elect a new President and get this country going in a new direction. But now that the election is over, it's time to look forward to the next election season and the next chance to speak up for our principles and our values.
"That's why we recommend a Marc Jacobs designer Hillary tee - for yourself and for friends on your holiday list. With the 2004 election behind us, Hillary is now a prime target of Republicans -and we're fighting back! You can show your support for Hillary and all that she stands for by wearing a Hillary tee and giving your friends and family the opportunity to do so as well.
"Available in seven different colors and both mens and womens sizes, Hillary tees make great stocking stuffers or Hanukkah presents. Get yours today for the low price of $38.50 for short sleeve shirts and $42 for long sleeve shirts.
"Thanks, as always, for being a Friend of Hillary."
Wow, almost $40 for a T-shirt!
Fortunately, Blue States have a great number of millionaires and billionaires who love Hillary and can afford those prices for a T-shirt.
Contrast that with NewsMax's readership in Wal-Mart-friendly Red States who just love our Bush Country T-Shirt. It's high quality - and costs just $14.95.
And sorry, we offer no Gucci-style designer.
In fact, our T-shirt was designed by NewsMax's very own Elizabeth Dole (by the way, no relation to Sen. Dole)!
