Many people come to the gallery looking for small, inexpensive gifts. We offer several ways to give you a lasting, high quality, sample of Papillon's fine art. Please call the gallery so we can give you the individual attention you deserve.
FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHIC ENLARGEMENTS
Several of the paintings can be photographically enlarged to offer you prints exactly suited in size and subject to that special spot on the wall. At this time we don't offer mass produced prints, preferring instead to keep it to your judgement as to what and how big the image should be for your home. These photographic enlargements are not low end products from the local chain store. Custom enlargements are done at one of Silicon Valley's finest laboratories that cater specifically to the art industry. The Polyester Prints are the finest quality photographic prints in the world. The brilliant white polyester substrate will not tear, will not yellow, will not mildew even in Florida, and is extremely sunfast. In normal indoor conditions it is guaranteed 30 years against fading. In essence, these will easily last your lifetime. These prints offer unexcelled brilliance and clarity and are a clear step beyond Elfachrome. This is far longer than the best gicleé prints on the market. These prints are the most expensive we offer. Standard photographic prints of excellent quality on paper can also be made at less expense. We feel this is terrific value for your dollar.
MOUNTED PHOTOGRAPHIC ENLARGEMENTS
We have now found a high quality supplier who will take the images mentioned above and mount them on a wood plaque under intense pressure, finish the edges, and give it a very durable and UV resistant coating. These are the same products Disneyland offers. They are easily cleaned. They ship very well. They are ready to hang on a wall or may be displayed with the stand-up peg supplied. They can be made in small to large sizes to your specification. Minimum price for this mounting is $100. The price difference between this mounting technique and standard framing is very large. In addition, since these are sealed from air and are UV protected, the degradation from environmental effects is very minimal. We feel these are the closest in feeling and quality to the wrap around frameless paintings we offer at a very nominal cost.
BLANK NOTECARDS
Since the start of the gallery Bob has kept photographs of all of Papillon's paintings. We had a strong demand from visitors for small keepsake notecards. Many of the people have framed these after having Papillon hand sign them. We offer the images you see on the website and many others from her past paintings on blank notecards. Minimum order is ten. Papillon will sign them at a small additional cost. These come in a clear plastic sealed sleeve. These notecards use a real photograph instead of the usual mass produced images commonly seen in the supermarket. They express your unique taste to those you gift with these. People love them around the world. We are the sole supplier.
PRETTY LADY COLLAGE BLANK NOTECARDS
These are very unusual art cards. Papillon starts them by creating an art deco guache painting. These are then reduced and are collaged with her very own handmade papers and colored stones and anything else that strikes her artistic eye. Click on the link to take you to a page of pictures.
BLUE LADY, RED CAT© T-SHIRTS?
Finally we are genuinely interested in feedback from you about doing a re-issue of some of the world famous Blue Lady, Red Cat© images on t-shirts. We did a gross of the "Go fishin" image on t-shirts and sold out in very short order. If we feel enough demand to justify the considerable expense of printing on t-shirts we will do so. As usual, we will search for the highest quality tee's and silk screen them.
