Here you will find the mugs, dinner plates, pie plates, napkin holders, and vases to pour wine and such from. All are painted with non-toxic products and are safe for your microwave ovens. All require at least two and often three or more firings in our kiln. Each is a unique piece of art.
Here's an idea! How about cups for your children with each childs name on their own cup? And baby cups in soft pink or blue with their name written gold. Give Papillon your idea for a unique gift!
Flower vases, candleholders, custom fired wall tiles.
These are painted and fired in a variety of ways. Some are created using the slip casting method, others are slab built, thrown, and sculpted individually. Some of these will be porcelain. Some will be finished with burnished gold. All are "Papillon Style".
Sculpture is an inadequate word to describe the variety of the handbuilt objects ranging from wall hangings to abstract upright forms in abstract. These range from dark brown stoneware high fired for reduction at Cone 10, to various porcelains, and white clay with various surface treatments. This area will be more or less a catch-all and often will intrigue your senses in a variety of ways. Enjoy.
